Our Leadership
Russell W. Newton, Chief Financial Officer, has more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry. He is responsible for all financial aspects of Source Capital’s business, and is actively involved in the firm’s investment banking business. Prior to joining Source Capital Group in 2001, he was the CEO of a regional broker/dealer. Earlier, Mr. Newton was a vice president at Bankers Trust Company in their Private Bank. He also served as a Vice President of Prescott Ball and Turben, Inc., with responsibility for all fixed income trading for Prescott's retail brokerage division. Mr. Newton received an academic scholarship from the New York Institute of Technology, where he majored in both mechanical engineering and naval architecture.
